Who We Are.

Agio Healthcare brings a comprehensive and holistic approach to healthcare cybersecurity and compliance. We adopted our 360-degree risk-based approach to deliver best-in-class security programs through talented people, effective processes, and leading technology.

With over a decade of experience, Agio Healthcare is focused exclusively on the healthcare industry. Our expert cybersecurity assessments, managed programs, employee education, and consulting services help our clients meet the challenges of an ever-growing threat landscape and increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Agio Healthcare is a division of Agio, Inc. a hybrid managed IT and cybersecurity services firm. With over 250 employees and a corporate culture that promotes open, direct, and timely communications with our clients, Agio provides unparalleled service to hundreds of organizations in targeted industries. Headquartered in New York, NY and serving clients across the US and the UK, we have operational centers in Raleigh, NC and Norman, OK, with offices in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Belfast, and Bangalore.

Agio Healthcare has a singular mission – deliver unrivaled cybersecurity services to the world’s most coveted digital healthcare assets. Together, we work to ensure patient privacy, security, and safety by protecting PHI and other confidential data, as well as the IT systems and infrastructure on which it is used, transmitted, and stored.

In many ways, Agio Healthcare’s culture and values mirror the industry we serve. As a services company, we leverage our professional expertise to help our clients safeguard their sensitive data and protect their IT infrastructure from malicious attacks, ensuring patient privacy as well as health and safety. We measure our success by our client’s success and gain personal satisfaction from helping others. As a result, we bring our best selves to work every single day.

CEO, Bart McDonough, discusses Agio culture.

Master the Fundamentals

Crawl before you walk; walk before you run. Establish a groundwork of practice, discipline, and attention to detail. Cracks in an unstable foundation show over time. So, take the time to hone in your craft and set yourself up for success.

Speak Up

There are no wallflowers at Agio. Say what needs to be said when it needs to be said. Ask the question everyone else is afraid to. It’s about being candid. Direct feedback and informed opinions are encouraged and expected.

Add, tweak, delete. Progress is impossible without change. Keep your mind open, and remember to bite size it – incremental growth day-by-day yields massive results over time.

Communicate Fearlessly

Communicate to illuminate, and then communicate some more. Don’t be afraid to commit to the client and establish expectations. Instill confidence and gain loyalty to create lasting relationships.

Be Bigger Than Your Job

Risk your comfort zone to challenge the status quo. Weigh in cross-departmentally and stay curious. When you connect the dots and contribute to teams outside of your own, you create change that separates Agio from the rest.

Charitable Contributions

Every year, Agio strives to make an impact in the lives of others by giving monetarily to causes that change the world. So far, we’ve given $30,000 to incredible organizations including St. Judes and Wounded Warrior Project. But that’s not all. Every year, we hold a competition between our service teams, awarding the winner with $5,000 to be given to a charity of their choice.

Since Agio Gives Back (AGB) launched last year, employees have been engaging with non-profits, schools, and local communities, making a positive social impact. Employees are given 32 hours of paid time offto support meaningful causes of their choice. Every Agio employee is empowered to change the world in their own way.
